This week, we spoke to Miriam from London about their experience as a L’Oréal and NYX Professional Makeup Expert. Let’s hear what they had to say.

Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Miriam and I am from London, where I work full-time in financial services. Fashion and beauty are my passion so I love anything related to this industry. Given my interest, I wanted to pursue a role as a brand ambassador for L’Oréal.

What brands do you answer questions for and why do you love them?

I am an ambassador for the L'Oréal brand for NYX Professional Makeup. I have been an avid NYX PMU consumer for over 10 years. I  enjoy being an ambassador because it gives me the chance to share my product knowledge and passion for the makeup brand.

What do you like about being an Expert?

As a people person, I thoroughly love being able to give advice to customers on this platform. You will find me giving tips on makeup, advising what products to use or getting excited over new product launches. Connecting with customers and discussing my passion at my own convenience whilst getting paid is an incredible perk. Being an Expert gives me the flexibility to respond to customers when I have the time to do so.

When do you answer questions the most?

We get a notification when a customer has asked us a question and I respond fairly quickly. There are templates devised by L'Oréal that are available to use as a guide and this is what I normally reference when answering questions.

How are you planning to spend your earnings?

Typically, I earn anything from £40-80 a week and (not surprisingly) I love to spend it on NYX PMU and other makeup products.
